When the original lift motor gave out on me, I replaced it with an electric window motor from the local junkyard. The only challenge was that the motor had two terminal connections, using the case as the third (ground).  This doesn’t work on the Elec-Trak as the frame is not at the same voltage as the lift motor would need for the common.  So I isolated the connection that went from the case to the brush and brought it out as a third wire as shown here.
